Services for Rozella Whaley, 68 of Junction City, KS will be held Thursday, August 7,2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Cremation will take place after the service.Pastor Bryan Jones will officiate.
Rozella died August 4, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center in Junction City, KS. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Center, 416 W. Spruce Street, Junction City, KS 66441.
She was born August 9, 1934, Perryton, TX to Ralph and Florence (Lowen) Lees, she married William (Bill) C. Whaley, August 13, 1954 at Raton, NM, he survives of the home.Rozella moved to Junction City in 1967 from Pratt, KS, she worked as a telephone operator for AT&T, at Dillon's Grocery in the meat department and as a receptionist for Dr.Bunker. Rozella enjoyed tennis, crocheting and loved to take evening walks.
She is survived by: Three Sons; Michael W. Whaley of Chapman, KS, Mark A. Whaley
and Mitch D. Whaley both of Junction City, KS, One Brother; Rick Lees of Baldwin, KS, One Sister; Donna Garris of Santa Rosa, CA and Five Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents .
Music will be provided by Florence Whitebread, Organist and Rick Munson, Vocalist
