A graveside service for Rosina M. Oberg, 99 of Manhattan formally of Junction City will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, at the Highland Cemetery. Pastor Martin Schlossman will officiate. Mrs. Oberg passed away Monday, February 28, 2011, in Manhattan, Ks. No visitation is planned. Memorial contributions may be given to the Eagle's Lodge in c/o Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Ave. Junction City, KS 66441.
Rosina was born February 13, 1912, in Junction City the daughter of Fred and Mamie (Cornelius) Clark.
She spent most of her life in Junction City having attended Junction City Schools. Rosina owned and operated Harris Liquor Store located at 11th and Washington Street in Junction City.
She was a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Klotz and his wife Rosie of Simsbury, Ct. and Dennis Klotz and his wife Brenda of Manhattan, KS. ; one daughter Delores Hunter of Manhattan, KS. She is also survived by her grandchildren Susan ,Patsy, Denny, Ryan, Sandy, Lorrie, Robert, Kurt, Jim , Steven, Nancy, Jill Ann and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Walter J. Klotz, Clifford Harris and Amos Oberg; three brothers, Howard, Wesley and Fred Clark and three sisters, Addie Shane, Gladys Ewing and Hazel Schiller and four grandchildren; Andrew, Ricky, Jennifer and Steven.
