Rosemary C. Breault, 94, of Junction City, died, Sat., Feb. 13, 2016 at Geary Community Hospital. Rosemary was born Aug. 3, 1921 at Yates Center, the daughter of Lewis and Emma (Mische) Culver. Rosemary attended schools in Yates Center, and had lived in Aurora, prior to moving to Junction City in 1951. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church, the Altar Society of the church, the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Earl C. Gormley, Post #45 of the American Legion, and the Hospital Auxiliary.
Rosemary worked for over 18 years as the receptionist for Dr. L. J. Brethour. After she retired in 1988, she worked at the Geary Community Hospital Gift Shop.
Rosemary married Leonard Breault on Nov. 30, 1946 in Yates Center. Leonard died Dec. 3, 1969. Survivors include: 2 sons, Larry J. Breault, Junction City, and Jerry Breault, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Emma Lee Solander, Yates Center; and 2 grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Chandler, AZ, and Pamela Thomas-Martin, Richland, WA. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters, a daughter, Carolyn Thomas in 2014; and 2 granddchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at St. Xavier Catholic Church, with Fr. Peter O'Donnell presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Xavier Catholic Church, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.
