Roseanne J. Kendig, 69, Junction City, died on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel in Junction City. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel, 805 Caroline Ave. with Pastor Randy Nichols officiating. The family has suggested memorial contributions in Roseanne's memory be made to Vertical Heart Church, 11713 B W. 18th St., Junction City, KS 66441.
Roseanne was born on January 3, 1943 to Archie and Dorothy (Spargo) Kendig in Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked for over 30 years as a drafting clerk for the Southwestern Bell telephone company.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Ann Kendig, Junction City, and by her sister, Aleatha Isaac of Almena, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Dorothy Kendig.
