October 1, 1957 — May 13, 2016

Rosemary "Rose" Sue Madden, 58, of Junction City, KS, returned to her heavenly home on May 13, 2016.

Rose was born on October 1, 1957 in Carson City, Michigan to Richard and Klava (Lehner) Coles. She was an incredibly vibrant and encouraging soul that touched everyone around her. She spent 30+ years in her career as an educator working with children from all ages and levels of learning, specializing in special education. Rose was very involved with her church and spent a lot of time reflecting on God and His Word. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, honorary mother and a friend. She left a perfect impression on all of the lives she encountered along her journey in this life.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, William "Bill" Thomas Madden, her son Jonathan (Stephanie) Madden of Calhan, CO; her three daughters, Anita Madden of Topeka, KS, Nicole Madden of Junction City, KS, and Michelle (Jeff) Carden of Sapulpa, OK. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Sullivan Madden, David Porter III, Skye Feliciano, Elise Kemp, Zephyr Madden, Nathaniel Stogsdill and Zailynn Madden.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Klava Coles, father, Richard Coles, son, Zachary Thomas Madden and daughter, October Rose Madden.

Rejoice for I am singing with the angels, dancing with loved ones, and running through the streets of heaven. I feel no more pain. I am blessed for the love God has shown me through my family and friends. If you must cry tears cry tears of happiness and rejoice in knowing that I am at peace.
