Roscoe E. Enfield

Memorial services for Roscoe E. Enfield, 80, of Junction City will be held Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel with Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo officiating. Mr. Enfield passed away at Stormont Vail in Topeka on September 3, 2006. Inurnment will take place in Fort Riley Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Enfield was born September 2, 1926, Coon Rapids, IA to Lloyd and Ada P. (Ogborn) Enfield. He married Hannelore Reiner May 15, 1959, she survives of the home. Mr. Enfield served in the U S Army retiring after 21 years of service. Following his retirement he worked at Fort Riley Middle School. He had been a resident of Junction City since 1970. He was a member of the American Legion.

Other survivors include one son, Norman Enfield of Junction City, three daughters, Loraine Arbuckle of Haven, KS, Joleen Schnurr of Dwight, KS and Diana Schnurr of Junction City and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
