Rosario P. Fabia married Juan Reyes Fabia in San Pedro, Laguna Philippines on April 1, 1945. Mrs. Fabia was actively working in her early and mid-years of her life. There were hobbies she most enjoyed: gardening and planting fruit trees for her grandchildren. Roses were her favorite flower and on her birthdays her happiness came from being showered with roses. A birthday wasn't a birthday without roses. Mrs. Fabia developed her cooking skills and was known for her famous eggrolls. She later opened a restaurant in Junction City and later continued to cater eggrolls from her home.
Mrs. Fabia supported Catholic missionaries throughout her life. She also offered continuous generous support to her family in the Philippines. Both Juan and Rose opened their home and hearts to friends and treated them like family. Junior Pasion never forgot their generous hospitality. For many years they shared their home and enjoyed the camaraderie of friends.
Throughout her life she showed personal inner strength. She had no difficulty in expressing her opinion when it came to the best interest of her family, including speaking to a General.
The person closest to her heart was her husband Juan. Their connection remained strong long after he was deceased. Her children were a source of pride and support. Rose loved dogs, and throughout her life nurtured them as they became her lifelong companions. Benji and Baby are now left behind.
Rose Fabia passed from this life on August 21, 2017 at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kansas leaving her greatest gift to us, her unconditional love.
