Graveside services for Rosa G. Wetzel, 80, Junction City will be 1: 00pm Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Wreford Cemetery with Rev. Clarence Sumner officiating. Mrs. Wetzel passed away May 7, 2007 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Manhattan, KS Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS.

Rosa was born October 18, 1926 in Lustenau, Austria. the daughter of Maria (Grabher) Asanger. She was a homemaker. and had lived in the Junction City area since 1960. She worked as a part time German Language Instructor for Fort Riley.

She was married to Glenn C. Wetzel October 6, 1951 in Wels, Austria. He preceded her in death February, 2, 2001.

Rosa is survived by her son George Wetzel, Junction City, KS, daughters Marylou Farley, Sutton, NE, Diane Fowler, Alta Vista, KS and Ginger Thompson, Belleview MI, ; nine grandchildren, and seven Great Grandchildren.
