Ronald E. "Ron" Parks, 56, Junction City, KS, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date.
Ronald was born July 21, 1964, in Junction City, KS the son of John W. and Mary L. (Price) Parks. He has lived in Junction City his entire life.
Ronald worked for Kansas State University working for their grounds and maintenance department. Ron graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1983. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending a lot of time outdoors and working with his garden. He shared a lot of garden vegetables with family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his mother Mary L. Parks of Junction City, KS; two sisters, Susanne Altwegg and her husband Steve of Chapman, KS and Jaylene Thurlow and her husband Robert of Wakefied, KS; six nieces and their families.
He was preceded in death by his father John W. Parks.
