Services for Ronald J. Miller,67, of Junction City, KS will be at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Wednesday,May 8, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. Military Chaplain James Foster will officiate. Mr. Miller died unexpectedly, May 1, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital, Junction City, KS. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel,Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery with full military honors. No Memorials have been designated He was born March 3, 1935, at Cairo, Georgia to Leo B. and Dartha (Norton) Miller. He married Umeko Ito November 20, 1957.Ronald was in the army for 20 years. He retired as an E-7. After retiring, Ronald was employed by the city of Junction and also worked at Coat's Chevrolet. Survivors include; Wife; Umeko Miller of Junction City, KS; One Son: Michael Miller of Junction
City, KS; Two Brothers: Jessie Miller of Pelham, GA, and Joe Miller of Thomasville, GA; and Two Sisters: Sammie Harrington of Maryville, TN, and Janette Thompson of Cairo,GA. Preceded in death by: Parents, and One sister: Jeanie Miller. Casket bearers: Fort Riley Honor Guard
