Robinette "Bobbie" F. (Horst) Case, 88, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Pastor Alan Estby will officiate. A visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017, at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home 203 N. Washington Street. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
Bobbie was born February 15, 1929 on a farm outside of Mission, SD, the daughter of August and Bertha (Hartmann) Horst.
Bobbie graduated from the Todd County High School, Mission, SD in 1947. She married Thomas M. Case on December 26, 1953, in Mission, South Dakota.
Bobbie was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, embroidery, bowling, camping, fishing, and playing cards, especially Cribbage. Bobbie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #45 in Junction City, KS and Life Member of the Air Force Sergeants Association Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Case and his wife Heide, Bruce Case and his wife Patricia; two daughters, Anita Case and Diana Spriggs all of Junction City, KS; three sisters, Hortense Artichoker, Alberta Crabtree and Twila Dvorak; five grandchildren, Shawn Case, RayMann Spriggs, John T. Kozlowski, KayLynn Spriggs and Nathen Kozlowski; four great-grandchildren, TyShawn Vance, SeVynn Spriggs, Kacie Kozlowski and Landon Kozlowski.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas M. Case, her parents, two brothers Elmer Beselin and Dewey Beselin and four sisters Verna Duke, Helena Hansen, June Ringstmeyer, and Linda Horst.
