Robert May, 54, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO. A funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Junction City Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mark Hatcher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Lincolnville Cemetery. Everyone attending the service is to wear Kansas City Chiefs, K-State or their favorite team attire.
Robert was born October 4, 1966, in Junction City, KS. the son of Harry and Karen Sue (Metcalfe) May.
Robert graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1986. At Junction City High School, he played the trumpet in the band. He worked for The Master Teacher Consulting in Manhattan, KS where he helped with the production of trophies and engraving. He also worked for long term care facility in Green, KS. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Concordia, KS. Every fourth of July, he would participate in a run where he would wheel himself in his wheelchair. Robert was an excellent pool player. He enjoyed football and wrestling.
Survivors include his two sons; Anthony May and Brett May both of Concordia, KS; his father Harry May of Junction City, KS; four brothers, Harry May, Jr., Matthew Albert May, Eric Narducci and Mark Narducci; five sisters, Susan Irene Might Arvizo, Linda Ann Booth, Christine Sophia Hurst, Leza Narducci and Valerie Orr; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Karen and brother George.
