Robert "Bob" Alan Crider, 65, of Junction City, KS passed away on February 19, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington Street in Junction City, KS.
Visitation will be held an hour before the Memorial Service.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later time.
Bob was born on February 4, 1953, in Junction City, Kansas to Lawrence Harold and Emily Maxine (Wilson) Crider.
As a young boy he grew up in Milford, Kansas. He ultimately graduated from Wakefield High School. Bob lived in many places during his life, but came back to his childhood home in Kansas. He went to work for Kansas State University for many years.
Bob was a people person. He had a big heart and was very social. He didn't know a stranger.
Bob was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a fan of Harley Davidson and owned a few. In addition to motorcycles, he enjoyed going to the movies and listening to live music in rock form. He was a good Christian and lived life by the "Golden Rule". He practiced his faith at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene.
Bob is survived by his loving family: his sister Donna New of Oxford, FL; his nephew, Matthew and wife Sherryl (Harms) Brown of Milford, KS; and a host of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Lawrence Crider and sister Lois Brown.
