Robert Anders

A funeral service will 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel for Robert D. Anders, 70, Junction City, Kansas. Pastor Deb Kluttz will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Wreford Cemetery with full military honors. A visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2007, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel. Mr. Anders passed away Monday, May 7, 2007, at his home in Junction City.

Robert was born October 16, 1936 in Shelbyville IN the son of George William and Helen (Rutherford) Anders. Mr. Anders was a veteran of the US Army. He attended Baptist Temple, Shelbyville, IN. He was a custodian for for Blue River Vocational School.

Robert was married to Mavern Zell July 25, 1958, she survives.

Other survivors are a daughter Denise Witt, Junction City, KS, a sister Marilyn Brokering, Waldron, IN; two grandchildren, and seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, son Timothy Anders, one sister Betty J. Anders.

Pallbearers will be Fort Riley Honor Guard.
