Robin "It's just Rob" Dewayne Cruce, a devoted grandfather, father, husband, and dedicated military serviceman, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, honor, and service.
He is survived by his beloved wife, U-Yong Cruce, and his six cherished children: Natasha, Crystalyn, Susan, Stephanie, Tai-Yang, and Nari-anna. Rob was also the proud grandfather of three grandchildren: Matthew, Sawyer, and Robin, who were a constant source of joy and pride in his life; his mother, Wilma Cruce and three siblings, Larry, Judy, and Donna.
Rob proudly served in the U.S. Army for 19 years, dedicating his life to the service of his country with honor and distinction. Following his military career, Rob continued his commitment to service as the Senior Military Advisor (SMA) at St. John’s Military School. In this role, he made a profound impact on the lives of hundreds of young students, guiding and mentoring them with the same dedication and integrity that defined his own life.
Rob was known for his unwavering commitment to his family and community. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of being part of his life.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of support during this difficult time. Rob’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all those he inspired throughout his life.
A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
