Funeral services for Rita Lynn Schweitzer, 53, Junction City, KS will be held at 10:00am Friday, November 4, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel with Rev. Janet Kimbrell officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Miss Schweitzer passed away November 1, 2005 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church 804 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441.

Rita was born October 17, 1952 in Junction City the daughter of Marvin H. and Marta B. (Dougan) Schweitzer. She graduated from Junction City High School in 1970 and attended Manhattan Vocational College one year. She liked the X-files on TV, games, avid reader, and a collector of key chains and books. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her mother Marta H. Schweitzer, Junction City, KS; a sister Kathy Biggs of Springfield, TN; and three nephews and a grand niece.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Biggs, Dennis Biggs, Larry Biggs, Dan Biggs and Jay Hathaway
