Richard "Rick" Henry Spires, 55, of Junction City, passed away on March 3, 2016 at Geary Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
He was born on January 2, 1961, in Sebring, Florida, son to Ander and Bobbie (Hathcock) Spires. Rick completed high school at Sebring High School in Sebring, Florida and joined the United States Army after graduation. When he finished proudly serving with the military, he lived in Florida for many years then came to Junction City, KS to live with close friend, Irma Amenson. He was a resident there for six years.
Rick is survived by his loving friend, Irma Jean Amenson of Junction City, KS; Two Daughters, Tori Spires of TX, Mariah Spires of TX; Son, William Spires of TX; several family members that include his siblings, aunts uncles, and grandchildren; and fur baby Pugsley of Junction City, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
