Regis F. Kramer, 81, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015, at the St. Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Peter O'Donnell officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel with the rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Xavier Catholic Church P.O. Regis was born October 15, 1934, in Seneca, KS the son of Frank and Rose (Buessing) Kramer.
Regis served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957. He spent his entire working career working for United Telephone Company having retired in 1993. At the time of his retirement, he was a Field Supervisor. He was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He married Joan Hermreck May 12, 1962. She passed away March 19, 2000. He later married Patricia "Pat" Howard Day April 21, 2001. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Thaine Kramer and his wife Jodi of Wray, CO; two grandchildren, Victoria and Josh, two step sons, Michael Day and his wife Nancy of Junction City, KS, Patrick Day and his wife Mary of Marysville, WA, two step daughters, Carol Fielder and her husband Kelly of Herington, KS, Sue Erickson and her husband Jim of Kingman, AZ; three sisters, Dorothy Selk of Topeka, KS, Helen Keeler of Whiting, KS and Sister Rosa Lee Kramer of Emmitsburg, MD.
Regis was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jason Kramer who passed away December 8, 2007.
