Regina M. Mayginnes

Regina D. Mayginnes, 86, of Junction City died November 6, 2003 at Valley View Professional Care Center. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel with 7:30 vigil service. Services will be Monday, November 10, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Xavier Catholic Church, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Regina was born January 19, 1917, at Herington to Martin F. and Helen "Nell" E. (Lynch) Dolan. She married Abner Marion "Mac" Mayginnes July 4, 1944, he preceded her in death April 26, 1979. She grew up in Herington and then moved to Junction City. She worked for Bell Telephone as a operator in Herington, she then worked for civil service at Fort Riley until her retirement, she had been a resident of Junction City most of her life and was an active member of St. Xavier Catholic Church. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to several bridge clubs and also a member of the Junction City Country club.

She is survived by two sisters: Dianna Baxter of Chickasha, OK and Mary Turner of Rohnert Park, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Frank Dolan, Jack Dolan and Gerald Dolan, one sister; Rita Troudt.

Pallbearers will be Joe Pascarelli, Ronnie Baxter, Tim Baxter, Larry Miller, Bob Bell, Mike Kokosis
