Raymond D. Evans, 66, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on June 1, 2024, at Via Christi Nursing Home.

He was born on September 4, 1957, to Harry Evans, Jr. and Betty (Simmers) Evans in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania.

Raymond worked as a gardener for most of his life. He first started in landscape with the Robert Montgomery Horticulture Center located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is where he met his loving wife, Linda Seaburn. They were married May 5, 1987, in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Landscape was one of his passions and made many homes in Junction City very beautiful. Along with landscaping, Raymond had other hobbies such as Karate.

Raymond was a parishioner of The Episcopal Church of The Covenant in Junction City for many years. Here he met many of his friends who will remember him fondly.

Raymond is survived by his sister, Robin Evans-Riley; friend, Sheryl Young and many other loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife and his parents.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of The Covenant officiated by The Very Reverend Steve Lipscomb followed by a graveside service at Highland Cemetery.
