Rashel Lynn "Ro" Greathouse

Rashel Lynn "RO" Greathouse, 37, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Junction City. A funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City. A graveside service will follow the funeral at 1:00 p.m., at the Prospect Hill Cemetery near Blue Rapids, Kansas. The family will receive friends 5: 00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City.

Rashel was born May 17, 1986, in Marysville, Kansas the daughter of Katherine May (Little) Dowd and George Lee Dowd.

Rashel had a caring nature and big heart. She enjoyed helping and assisting people in need. She was known for her generosity, kindness, and acceptance of others. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter Shante'e Dowd.

Survivors include her mother Katherine Krunze of Waterville, Kansas; one daughter, Shante'e Dowd of Junction City, Kansas; two sisters, Kelly Bell of Waterville, Kansas and Kim Krunze of Blue Rapids, Kansas; six nieces, Lilly, Lizzy, Mayme, LeeAndra, Serenity and Leeah; two nephews, Mitchell and Macon.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Nathan Lee Dowd.
