Ramon P. Dela Cruz

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ramon P. Dela Cruz, 84, of Junction City will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the St. Xavier Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, KS with vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Delacruz passed away on November 6, 2009 at Geary Community Hospital.

Mr. Dela Cruz was born August 14, 1925, San Carlos City Pangasinan, Philippines to Anacleto and Brigida (Posadas) Dela Cruz. He married Encarnacion M. Dela Cruz in 1947 San Carlos City, Philippines. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife Encarnacion M. Dela Cruz of Junction City, five sons; Bernardo and his wife Bella Dela Cruz of San Diego, CA, Fernando and his wife Aurelia Dela Cruz of Philippines, Rogelio and his wife Maria Lene Dela Cruz, Zaldy and his wife Lea Dela Cruz and Rey and his wife Ruth Ann Dela Cruz all of Junction City, KS, four daughters; Virginia and her husband Virgilio DeGuzman of Junction City, KS, Arsenia and her husband Leonardo DeLeon of Philippines, Adela and her husband Wilfredo DelaTorre of Junction City, KS and Maria and her husband Andy Padilla also of Junction City, one sister, Mercedes DeLeon of Philippines, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Vaughn DeGuzman, Brian Dela Cruz, Juanito Veniegas, Rey Dela Cruz, Zaldy Dela Cruz and Bobby Drey.
