A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2007, at Fort Riley Cemetery with full military honors for MSG Pierre Henry Paquette US Army (Ret), 57, Milford, Kansas. A visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street in Junction City. Mr. Paquette passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007, at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Memorial contributions may be given to the Paralyzed Veterans of America 5500 E. Kellogg Bldg 61 Rm 109 Wichita, Kansas 67218.
Mr. Paquette was born December 1, 1949, in Brunswick, Maine the son of Romeo and Yvette (Bernier) Paquette.
Pierre served nearly 22 faithful years in the United States Army. He later worked as a private contractor at Fort Riley.
Pierre married Terri A. Parizo on January 27, 1973.
Survivors include his wife Terri of Milford, Kansas; one son Sean A. Paquette and his wife Tammy of Milford, Kansas and one daughter Kara Baldwin and her husband David of Pleasant Hope, Missouri. Other survivors include four brothers, Paul Paquette of Brunswick, Me; Leo Paquette of Jacksonville, Fl; Luke Paquette of Bay City, Mi. and David Paquette of Brunswick, Me. He is also survied by three sisters, Jackie Forstall of Brunswick, Me; Collette Cullen of Brunswick, Me. and Jeanine Herson of Portland, Me. Pierre is survived by four grandchildren, Sydnee, Hunter and Luke Baldwin and Payton Paquette.
