Phyllis J Edwards, 82, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City. Cremation has taken place. No memorial service is planned. Her ashes will be buried at Fort Riley Main Post Cemetery along side her husband Staff Sgt. Francis D. Edwards.
Phyllis was born February 5, 1939, in Bloomfield, NE the daughter of Albert and Loretta (Carlow) Wacker.
Phyllis was a homemaker.
Phyllis and Francis were married at Ft. Ord, CA on April 10, 1958.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Watson and her husband Timothy Dreher of Junction City, KS; one granddaughter, Jenna Watson of Junction City, KS; two brothers, Dennis Wacker and Rodney Wacker; three sisters, Donna Dye, Linda Wacker and Darlene Rysavy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, daughter Pamela and two sisters.
