Pauline Sherraden

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Junction City for Pauline Bernice Sherraden, 87, Lawrence, Kansas. Reverend James Callaway will officiate. Mrs. Sherraden entered into the presence of the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2007, at the Brandon Woods Care Center, Lawrence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Highland Cemetery in Junction City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributons are suggested to be made to the First Baptist Church 624 N. Jefferson Junction City, Kansas 66441.



Pauline was born December 14, 1919, in Washington County, Kansas the daughter of Emery R. and Geneva P. (Landis) Hamilton.



Pauline was a professional Country Club Manager, managing Country Clubs in Junction City, Kansas and Garden City, Kansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Junction City for more than 50 years.



She married Arthur H. Sherraden on October 22, 1938. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1984.



Survivors include her children Gerald of Ward, Arkansas, Ronald of Garden City, Kansas, Larry of Lawrence, Kansas, Joyce Sherraden Mason of Linwood, Kansas, Douglas of Junction City, Kansas and Patrick of Colorado. She is survived by 20 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Darlene Vosper of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.



Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel 805 Caroline Ave. Junction City, Kansas has assisted the family with cremation services.
