Pauline Mary Johnson

Graveside services for Pauline Mary Johnson, 84, of White City, KS will be 1p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Skiddy Cemetery with Pastor Roger Walls officiating. Visitation will be 6-8p.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. Mrs. Johnson passed away November 26, 2008 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506.

Pauline was born December 19, 1923 in Parsons, KS to Raymond and Gladys (Hughes) Shields. She met George Johnson and they were married April 24, 1942 in Parsons, KS. He preceded her in death January 2, 1992.

Survivors include four sons Donald Johnson and wife Ann, Solomon, KS; Kenny Johnson and wife Gina, Salina, KS; Gary Johnson and wife Pam, Lexington, OK; Larry Johnson and wife Eva, Burlington, KS; one daughter Paula Woods and husband Gregg, White City, KS; 14 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.

Pauline was also preceded in death by a son Paul Johnson.
