Services for Pauline Wilson Kemp,73, of Junction City, KS will be held at the Second Missionary Baptist Church, Tuesday, December 17, 2002, at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Audrey Toombs will officiate. Pauline died December 10, 2002 at her residence. Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, KS. No memorial was designated. Pauline was April 11, 1929, Bristol, VA to Dan and Maggie M. (Gambrel) Wilson. Pauline graduated from Douglas High School, June 4, 1948, Bristol, VA, she then attended Virginia State for two years. She married Robert Bell Kemp, Sr., February 20, 1952 at Bristol, VA,
he preceded her in death January 17, 1997. Pauline was a homemaker and she attended Second Missionary Baptist Church, and other churches in the area, she had been a resident of Junction City, KS since June of 1970. Survivors: Two Sons; Robert Bell Kemp, Jr. of Oakland, CA, and Thomas Leroy Kemp of
San Francisco, CA, One Daughter: Beverly Kemp-Saunders of Junction City, KS, One
Sister; Virginia Carter of Bristol, Six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded In Death By: Parents, Four Sisters; Lucille King, Rowena Hill, Annie Bell Johnson and a infant sister. Organist will be Frances L. Clark and the Vocalists will be the Second Missionary Baptist Church Choir.
