Patty Song

Funeral services for Patty Jean Song, 59, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Korean Grace Baptist Church, 629 Grant Ave. with Reverend Sung Tae Kim. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street. Ms. Song passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at her son's home in San Antonio, TX. Memorial contributions may be given to the Gastric Cancer Fund, 106 Towerview Court, Cary, NC 27513.

Patty was born February 15, 1951, in Seoul, South Korea the daughter of Yong Hyun and Kwi Soon (Suh) Song.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy Cooper and his wife Magdalena of San Antonio, TX and one daughter, Nancey Peyla and her husband Dustun of Junction City. She is also survived by three brothers; John Song of Junction City, James Song and Jack Song both of Omaha, NE, one sister, Susan Tinney of Junction City, three grandchildren; Breana Reed, Jordyn Peyla and Charlie Peyla all of Junction City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
