Patricia Ann (Mac Cready) Ball, 68, of Junction City, KS, passed away on June 16, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.
Patricia "Pat" was born on February 27, 1950, Kenosha, WI to Donald and Lucille (Manderfeld) Mac Cready. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation she began working at St. Catherine's Hospital where she continued to work for 25 years.
On October 28, 1972 she married Richard L. Ball at St. Peter's Church in Kenosha, WI. In 1974 she gave birth to her daughter, Bridget. Although Pat only had one child, she was considered a "Mom" and "Grandma" by many. She was known to have a heart bigger than her body. Pat was born to be a caregiver, and she would give the clothes off her back if need be.
Pat is survived by her Husband, Richard; her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Bridget & Timothy Oliver; Granddaughter, Olivia Oliver; Brother, Michael (Patricia) Mac Cready; Nieces, Colleen Scuggs, Katie (Rob) Hamm, Maureen (Chad) Johnson; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald H. and Lucille M. Mac Cready.
Per Pat's wishes, she will be cremated. She wanted friends and loved ones to attend a Celebration of Life Service, not a funeral, to commemorate a life well lived. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Ave, Junction City, KS 66441.
