Patricia A. Potter, 81, of Junction City, KS passed away on July 6, 2012 at Via Christi Village, Manhattan, KS. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Patty Brown-Barnett officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington St. Memorial contributions may be given to the Homecare and Hospice, 3801 Vanesta Drive, Manhattan, KS 66503.
Patricia was born January 27, 1931, Junction City, KS to Edgar and Bessie (Chambers) Myers. She was a graduate of Junction City High School class of 1949 and then attended Kansas State University.
She married Reginald Potter, May 4, 1952 he preceded her in death September 1, 1993. She was a homemaker and a home health caregiver for various senior citizens. She was a lifelong resident of Junction City and a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Covenant. She loved sports and political news.
She is survived by her son Robert (Sandi) Potter of Muscatine, IA and her daughter Diane (Raymond) Dowling of Junction City, KS and one granddaughter Steffani Dowling and a cousin Maxine Clary of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Myers.
