Pamela M. Thompson of Junction City went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2017 at the age of 62. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will take place at a later date.
Pamela was born July 26, 1954, Manhattan, KS to Frank and Anne E. (Johnson) Thompson, she grew up in Manhattan, KS but graduated from Hayfield High School in Alexandria, VA. She was a former member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was a warm and caring woman who will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, Anthony and Anna Thompson, her sisters, Cheryl Thompson of Milwaukee, WI and Roselyne Thompson of Junction City, KS; one brother, Frank Thompson, Jr. of Wichita, KS; three grandchildren, Dontre' Thompson and De'Onta Thompson both of Wichita, KS and Zahriyah Thompson of Junction City, KS; two nieces, Florence Thompson of Lawrence, KS and Demetria Thompson of Milwaukee, WI; three nephews, Tyron Thompson of Wichita, KS, Steven Thompson and Maurice Thompson both of Atchison, KS; six great-nieces; eight great-nephews and one great-great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Pamela Y. Thompson; her sister, Lois Mills; nephew, Scott Thompson; and granddaughter, Anna Marie Thompson
