Olevia "Big O" M. Humphreys, 60, of Junction City, Kansas, passed on February 24, 2016. Cremation has taken place. A private, family memorial service will take place at her residence on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.
Olevia was born on September 10, 1955, in Frankfurt, Germany, daughter to Charles and Oda Bell (Kleinpeter) Humphreys.
The Humphrey family later moved to Ft. Riley, KS with the Army. Big "O" lived her childhood in Junction City, KS, and graduated Junction City High School. She later went to work on Ft. Riley for Military Base Housing.
Our dear Olevia, you're gone away to be with God where you will stay. We know that you are in good hands. All the love you gave always expands. We'll miss you, Olevia, since your depart. We'll always remember you in our hearts. Olevia, Olevia, such a good person so dear. There's no more worries, sorrow, or fear.
Olevia is survived by her Daughter, Joi Monique Humphreys of Junction City, KS; Sister, Melvitta Parker of Junction City, KS; and Two grandchildren, Qua'Vez and Nevaeh Humphreys.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Humphreys, Mother, Oda Bell Humphreys, Three sisters, Gloria Gregoire, Patricia Custis, Jo Anne Sahms.
