Odessa Carter

Odessa Carter, 74 of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at the Valley View Professional Care Center in Junction City, Kansas Memorial Services will be held at the Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel, Thursday, September 12, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Fort Riley Cemetery. Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo will officiate.

Odessa was born on July 23, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas to Paschal and Elia Cade. She Married Russell T. Carter on July 6, 1959 in Junction City, KS. He
preceded her in death in March 1980.

She was a Homemaker and she belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary

Survivors include Four Daughters: Harlene Gilliam, Los Angeles, CA, Larna Cade, Junction City, Kansas, Anita Bothwell, Okinawa, Japan, Aletha Carter, Manhattan, Kansas; One Son: Russell T. Carter, Jr., Junction City, Kansas; Three Sisters: Willie Beatty, Dallas, Texas,Irene Handy, Portland, Oregon , Mary Jane Brown, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Seven Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren
