Nicholas "Nick" Gregory Fisher, 37, of Junction City, KS died January 13, 2018. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington Street, Junction City, KS 66441. Graveside services with full military honors will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, Manhattan, KS. In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be given to the family and sent in care of the Funeral Home.
Nick was born February 8, 1980, Munising, MI to Gregory D. Fisher and Susan M. (Brisson) Burton. He received his Bachelor's of Science from Northern Michigan University in 2003. He served in the United States Army received the Iraq Campaign Medal w/Campaign Star along with numerous medals, he retired in 2017. Nick was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed sports and especially the Detroit Lions, he loved spending time with his family.
Nick married Lindsey Haynes December 18, 2012, Junction City, KS. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his three daughters, Irelynn Whitebread, Kaiya Girard and Ryelynn Fisher all of Junction City, KS; his mother, Susan (John) Burton of Winder, GA, his father Gregory D. Fisher; his sister, Dayna (Scott) Ampe, his niece Madyson Ampe and nephew, Mason Ampe all of Detroit, MI; his grandma, Donna Brisson of Munising, MI; his in-laws, Sparky and Colleen Stafford of Junction City, KS and John and Roxie Haynes of Victorville, CA.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Bernie Brisson.
