Funeral Service for Mrs. Elnora "Ne Chelle" Bronson, 57, of Junction City, KS, will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home in Junction City, Kansas.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Ne Chelle, as she was so fondly called, departed this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Geary Community Hospital. She was the daughter of Frank Holland Jr., Daisy Jean Jackson, and Oscar Lloyd Jackson. Ne Chelle was born on February 5, 1964, at Fort Irwin, CA.

Ne Chelle was educated in the Killeen Independent School District, Killeen, TX, and was a graduate of Ellison High School, Class of 1982.

She was a military spouse for twenty years having earned many awards for her volunteer services while her husband served in the military.

She accepted the Lord at an early age at Red Team Chapel, Fort Hood, TX, where she sang with the choir, God's Children, under the direction of her father, Oscar Lloyd Jackson. They traveled throughout several states singing at churches and prisons. She was an active and faithful member of numerous churches. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and worked as a para-professional for U.S.D. #475 at various schools. Her last career was working for AAFES at Fort Riley, KS. Her greatest passion was helping her family and friends. Many people considered her as a second mom or a member of their family.

On June 4, 1983, she married the love of her life, Jerry L. Bronson at Fort Hood, TX, and out of this union, they had two daughters, Shenna and Jeannie Bronson.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Junction City, KS; two daughters, Shenna Banks (and her spouse April) of Manhattan, KS and Jeannie Bronson of Junction City, KS; two grandchildren, Ja' Ziyah and Juelz of Junction City, KS; her loving mother, Daisy Jean Jackson of Killeen, TX; one brother, Frank Holland III of Killeen, TX; two sisters, Trenneisa Taylor (Guy) of Detroit, MI; and Amon James of Berkeley, CA; a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Frank Holland Jr.; one brother, Eric Jackson; and her special dad who raised her, Oscar Lloyd Jackson.
