Nancy J. Reighley, 65, of Junction City passed away November 30, 2018 at Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City, KS. Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, #830, 203 E. 10th Street, Junction City, KS 66441. Donations may be made to Shannon Seaman to assist with costs of services in c/o Penwell-Gabel, P.O. Box 826, Junction City, KS, 66441.
Nancy was born September 10, 1953, Junction City, KS to Bruce and Mary (Simpson) Reighley. Nancy loved to spend time at Milford Lake boating and skiing with her family and friends. She had a great love for music and dancing.
Interior decorating was her passion and she enjoyed decorating homes for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite holiday and the most memorable in the family. She loved to take care of others more than herself and was such a giving person to everyone. She was eccentric, classy and she had a beautiful smile that would light up a room and she had a loving heart.
Nancy was head strong and determined throughout her life and up to her passing. She was lovingly referred to by her daughter Shannon "As my Crazy Redhead".
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Steve) M. Seaman of Junction City; her grandsons, Kyle M. (Maria) Seaman and Tyler S. (Anna) Seaman of Michigan and great-grandson Ryker J. Seaman of Junction City, KS; her longtime companion Loren Michael Jones of Herington, KS; her sister, Mary Ann (Scott) Kuhle; niece Jody (Steve) Brand; nephews, Jon (Laurie) Schad, Michael (Suzie) Schad, Andrew (Tawsha) Kuhle all of Washington, along with several great nieces and nephews. Nancy is also survived by her former husband and friend Joseph V. Paluskas of MI.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and life long family friend Richard (Dick) Wolter.
