A Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy Millard, 83 of Junction City will be Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Interment will follow at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Manhattan, KS. Mrs. Millard passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 with family at her side. Memorials may be made to Saint Xavier's Catholic School Scholarships, 200 N. Washington St., Junction City, KS 66441.
Nancy was born April 27, 1927 in Castle Bar, County Mayo, Ireland to Patrick and Celia (Mullen) McGowan. She later married Ralph Millard on September 9, 1950 in Woodside, NY. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2010.
She is survived by two sons Ralph and Rhonda Millard of Junction City, KS, Raymond and Elizabeth Millard of Macon, GA. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A sister Bridgett Cuccia of Hampton Bay, NY. Five nieces and five nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by a twin brother, who died at birth.
