Nancy Diane Day, 68, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas. Cremation will take place. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. No services are planned. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the American Cancer Society.
Nancy was born September 17, 1955, in Junction City, Kansas the daughter of Albert Dillard and Nancy (Moyer) Kerby.
Nancy graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1973. She worked for North Kansas Savings and First State Bank. Nancy loved gardening, spending time outdoors and spending time with her boys and grandchildren.
She married Michael J. Day June 29, 1974, in Junction City, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband Michael of Junction City, Kansas; four sons, Kenny Day of Abilene, Kansas, Todd Day of Enterprise, Kansas, Nick Day of Sheridan, Arkansas and Jordan Day of Junction City; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Elisa, Lanie, Marie, Brianna, Emma and Junior; one brother, Albert Kerby; one sister, Gwen Griffitts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Harold Newsome.
