Myron Boyd

Myron Boyd, 55, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor James E. Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Highland Cemetery.

Myron was born on April 14, 1967 in Lexington, Mississippi the son of William and Nancy (Henderson) Boyd.

Myron enjoyed fishing, music and cooking. He loved all his family and friends.

Those survived to cherish his memory are his mother, Nancy Boyd of Junction City, Kansas; children, Tamika Waters, Myron Boyd, Jr. and Bradley Boyd and Brandon Boyd; his siblings, William Boyd, Jr., Robert Boyd, Sharon Boyd-Oxford (Otis), Monica Boyd-Brown; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and grandchildren.

Those that preceded him in death are his father William Boyd; grandfather and grandmother, Emil and Stella Graham; one brother, Johnny Boyd.
