Richard Francois, 68, passed away peacefully at St. Francis, Topeka, KS on Friday, October 31, 2008. Richard was born in Batavia, New York, December 1, 1939
to Richard and Berniece Francois. He was the oldest of three children. Richard served honorably in the U.S. Army for over 24 years with two tours in Vietnam.
He attained the rank of Master Sergeant, retired in 1983, Augsburg, Germany. He was a loving husband to his wife, Lan, for 15 years.
He leaves behind his Son, Richard Francois Jr and wife, Tonya Francois; four grand children, Richard III, Mitchell, Ciara, and Zachary.
He is also survived by his sister, Ann Puma; and brother, Doug Francois.
A memorial service will be held at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington , Junction City, Kansas Rev. Dr. Joe Belardo officiating on Tuesday, November 4, at 2 P.M., Inurnment will be at a later date.
