MSG (RET) Ollie Willis, 73, of Junction City, Kansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service with full military honors will take place 10 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Ollie was born December 8, 1948, in Gaffney, South Carolina the daughter of Roy Wade and Arzalea Ellison-Dawkins.
Ollie served in the United States Army until her retirement. After retirement, she worked as a Civil Servant at Fort Riley for many years until she retired.
On July 23, 1983, she married Joe L. Willis. He passed away October 19, 2020.
Survivors include one daughter, Jasmyn L. Willis of Junction City, Kansas; one son, Kelsy Wade of Salina, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Mia Willis, Zaire Griffin, Kelsy Wade, Jr., Threi Shaun Wade-Burnett, Alexis Germann, Xzavrianna Wade and Dontavioun Wade; one sister, Sandra Davis; one brother, Logan Davis.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Willis; her parents and two sisters, Glenda Davis and Joanne Davis-Cunningham.
