MSG (RET) Benjamin Noel O'Sullivan, 64, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on February 26, 2013 at Saint Luke's Mid-America Heart Institute Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held at St. Xavier Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Visitation will be held at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, from 6p.m. to 8p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Saint Luke's Mid-America Heart Institute, 4401 Wornall Rd., Kansas, MO 64111.

Ben was born in County Cork, Ireland on December 16, 1948.

Ben married Jill Lang on February 6, 1975 and they were married 37 years.

Ben served in the United States Army for 20 years. He completed two tours in Vietnam and one tour of duty during Desert Storm. He also was an electrician for many years. Ben's last work position was with MW Builders, Inc. as a Quality Control Inspector.

Ben's greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Ben is survived by his wife Jill of Junction City, KS, mother Eileen O'Sullivan of Pawtucket RI, brothers: Robert O'Sullivan of East Providence RI, Kevin O'Sullivan of Pawtucket RI, sisters: Mary Skurka of Pawtucket RI, Eileen Brierley of Cumberland RI and Kathleen Marchand of Pawtucket RI. He is also survived by his son Thomas O'Sullivan of Montgomery AL, daughters Kellie O'Brien of Overland Park, KS and Kerrie Jeffries of Junction City, KS. Ben is also survived by his grandchildren Gavin, Kaitlin, Katherine, Kiera, MaKaila, Meghan, Molly, Shannon, and Skylor. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

Ben is preceded in death by his father Robert Paul O'Sullivan.
