Mrs. Dorothym Shephard, Iii - Warren

Mrs. Dorothy M. Shephard, III-Warren was born April 23, 1957 to Nathaniel H. and Dorothy M. Shephard, II in Princeton, NJ. Dorothy M. Shephard, III 59, of Junction City, quietly slipped away on September 14, 2016, 10:10 am. at St. Luke's Hospital Kansas City, MO with her husband and sons by her side. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, 203 N. Washington Street with Funeral services to follow at 11:00 am. with Reverend Redo Purnell officiating, cremation will follow the services.

She united in matrimony to Robert E. Warren on January 13, 1977 and to this union three children were born. Dorothy had numerous jobs in the Junction City area over the years. She loved her family and grandchildren to include the first great-grand. Pottery, plants and her family and home were the most important of any other.

Dorothy was preceded by her parents Nathaniel H. and Dorothy M. Shephard, II; her brothers, Leon Shephard and Jerome Shephard; her sister, Gloria J. Shephard and her daughter, Nicole D. Warren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Warren, Sr.; two sons, Robert E. (Cassidy) Warren, Jr. of Newton, KS; Tremaine N. (Sheila) Warren of Junction City, KS; her sisters, Geraldine Shephard and Barbara Anne Shephard both of Trenton, N.J. and her brother Nathaniel H. (Suvanee) Shephard, Jr. of O'Fallon, IL, eight grandchildren and one great-grand and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and also a surrogate mother, Mrs. Dorothy N. Bragg.
