Funeral services for Mildred M. Page, 87, of Junction City will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2005, 2 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Burial will be in Welcome Cemetery. Mrs. Page passed away at Geary Community Hospital December 10, 2005. Memorial contributions may be given to the Bicentennial Manor, 1010 W. 8th Street, Junction City, KS 66441 and/or Cottonwood Estates, c/o Valley View Estates, 1410 W. Ash, Junction City, KS 66441.
Mrs. Page was born February 23, 1918, Geary County, KS to William and Edith (McDiffett) Janke. She was a lifetime resident of Junction City. Mrs. Page was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Hope Prayer Group and the Organizational Unit of United Methodist Women.
She married Henry Dale Page April 19, 1941, Junction City, he preceded her in death July 8, 1995.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Page of Vail, CO and Darrell Page of Oxford, OH, one daughter, Barbara Cross of Denver, CO, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Janke (1920) and Merita Hartung (2004)
Pallbearers will be Scot Quick, Michael Goodwin, Michael Brannum, Russell Sinnard, David Nieslanik and Rick Eyestone.
