Michael "Don" Allen, 60, of Junction City, Kansas, died Feb. 23, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Manhattan, Kansas. Don was born July 23, 1954 at Levelland, Texas, the son of Horace & Marie (Myers) Allen.
Don attended school in Melvin, Texas and had worked for many years as a ranch-hand on several ranches in Texas. He moved to Junction City in 2005.
Survivors include a brother, Russell "Dale" Allen and his wife Carla, Junction City; and a sister, Ruby Lewis and her husband Bill, Lampasas, Texas.
A visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, 3:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, Junction City. Burial will be in the Stacy Cemetery, near Doole, Texas.
