Michael J. Ammann, 60, of Milford, KS passed away on January 23, 2015 at Salina Regional Health Center. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street. Cremation has taken place.
Michael was born November 4, 1954, Vandalia, IL to Robert J. and Dorothy (Mollett) Ammann. He worked for Gustafson Concrete for over 20 years.
Michael enjoyed his family, cooking and spending time at home. He was known for his kindness, humor and his ability to have never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife Helen of Milford, KS, his children; Christina Ammann of Wichita, KS, Jennifer (Rodney) McDonald of Junction City, KS and Kelly (Rhonda) Ammann of Abilene, KS, Jeannine Tipton of Junction City, KS and Candi (Travis) Hummel of Kansas City, MO, his siblings; Lonnie (Betty) Ammann of MO, Nancy (Jeff) Benson of Greenville, IL and Linda (Frank) Murphy of Alton, IL. Michael is also survived by ten grandchildren; Kenedy Obrecht, Kyler Ammann, Alexa Ammann and Kolby Ammann, Janelle Tipton, Jasmine Tipton, Matthew Tipton-Patton, Rachel Tipton (Delantis), Crystal Torgenson. Levi Torgenson and Maddie Hummel, one great-grandchild Delantis Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Edgar Earl.
