Mi Su Ward, 75, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Valley View Senior Life Center. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Fort Riley Cemetery. A visitation will be held 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday prior to the graveside service at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street. Memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
Mi Su was born October 17, 1939, in Korea.
Mi Su worked at Fort Riley for twenty years. She worked as Kitchen Police in the Mess Hall. She enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and growing flowers.
She married Thomas Ward November 22, 1971. He passed away January 29, 1993.
Survivors include her husband Charles Eberling.
