Melvin H. Wilburn, 81, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.
Melvin will be cremated. A private graveside service will be conducted at Highland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Junction City Animal Shelter 2424 N. Jackson Street Junction City, Kansas 66441.
Melvin was born February 16, 1943, in Junction City, Kansas the son of William and Katherine (Lynn) Wilburn.
Melvin worked for Ehrsam Machine Shop in Enterprise, Kansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Junction City, Kansas.
Melvin married Sharon K. Roberts. She died November 28, 2010.
Melvin is survived by his loving brother, Robert L. Wilburn and his wife Patty of Junction City, KS; one niece, Sherry Shrouf of Junction City, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brandon Wilburn; three sisters, Shirley Walker, Marjorie Martin and Ruth Ortiz.
