Maxine R. Kroeplin, 89, of Junction City, passed away on March 17, 2017 at her son's home in Eudora, KS. Cremation is planned.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, 11:00 am, at the First Presbyterian Church, 113 West 5th Street, Junction City, Kansas. A luncheon will follow at 12:00 pm at the church. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.
She was born on July 9, 1927, Hope, Kansas to William and Elda (Fortmeyer) Neis.
Maxine was a member of First Presbyterian Church; she was a volunteer at Geary Community Hospital and Hospice, helped prepare Thanksgiving meals for the community, and supported the Open Door and DAV programs.
Maxine is survived by her Two Sons, William E. (Yvette) Gadberry of Eudora, KS, John W. (Fiancé, Rhonda L. Hooson) Gadberry of Parma, MI; and many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elda Neis, husband, Ernest Kroeplin, and grandson, Chris Gadberry.
Dove Cremation and Funeral Service of Junction City, is assisting the family with arrangements.
