Private Family Graveside services for Mary L. Corbett, 95, Wakefield, KS will be Saturday, August 12, 2006 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City, KS with Father Al Brungardt officiating. No visitation is planned.Mary passed away August 9, 2006 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to St, Xavier's Catholic Church, 218 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441 and or St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 714 Court Clay Center, KS 67432. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary was born March 9, 1911 in Wichita, KS the daughter of Lawrence and Rose Mary (Padgett) McCabe. She was a homemaker.

Mary married Gilbert T. Corbett, December 25, 1935 in Blackwell, OK. He preceded her in death November, 1999.

Mary is survived by her children, Betty McCann, Lake Latawana, MO; Susie Bell, Bayport MN, Pearl Gross, Junction City, KS and Jim Corbett, Wakefield, KS. Two brothers Lawrence McCabe, Jr., and Robert B. McCabe both of Wichita, KS. Nine grandchildren, Eight great grandchildren, and One great-great grandchild.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Tom Corbett, three sisters, one brother and 2 grandchildren.
